The Wedding of B&R-part 3

Well, here's the farewell part...
They drove off  into the sunset on this cute little tractor. :)

But first the bouquet  toss had to happen!

If you look closely you can see Dana's dramatic catch...
Which her brother helped her to get excited over! :D

Do you recognize her now that she's showing
 her sweet side again? :D
We had a potty break that inconveniently coincided with the releasing of the butterflies so the girls let theirs go on their own and I was able to get this cute video. :)
Time for bubble blowing and good-byes.

 And they're off!!!

Kate watched them driving away...all the way around the field until they disappeared from view...and then some. :)

And she was still watching when they sent the vehicle after them to collect them because someone had played a little trick on them and snuck off with their getaway car.
So the happy couple was dragged back to the waiting crowd and were made to jump thru some hoops before they were allowed to depart for real. :)

The kids kept their noses in the midst of the action right up until the cutting of the keys loose from their prison so the newlyweds could go their married way.:D
The end

The Wedding of B&R part 2

A bunch of pics of "The Girls" with a few of folks that we are related to hanging out, waiting for food, enjoying each others company, and taking care of our kids. :)  Thanks ya'all.
(you can tell by these photos that mostly all I did was follow the kids around!)  :D

Michael- the preferred babysitter by our kids
and prayed for regularly by them. :)
I felt the same way Jillian...
about the time I found out we wouldn't have our luggage
in time for the wedding. :)
Someone get this girl some food please,
before something bad happens! ;D

Hours of fun and fighting were had
by the kids in this hammock!
Lala and Kate
Snack time in the shade and quiet of the front porch.
Kate ordering her cousins around...

...and rewarding them accordingly with a taste of her yogurt.

goofy girls
(and if you notice the reflection there's goofy uncle too)

"i'm a princess!"

"when they say 'smile' go like this"

Wait...are these really relatives!?!

And here I thought this one was such a lady!!! :D

It appears my daughters been hanging
out with the above cousins too much.

Scouting out the victuals...

sweetness :)

Destination discovered!

The groom -the bride-
and her mom...whom I so much enjoyed getting to know!
Such a sweet person! ( now I know why her daughter is so sweet)
Waiting patiently for the time to free her butterfly...
It appears they may not last that long tho
as it been a long day. :)

They soon opted to put me in charge of the butterfly and go play,
but  not before the poor butterfly endured a few good squeezes. :D
Running for the potty!

These are the real photographers!  :)
I can't wait to see their photos since I missed out on a lot of the wedding.

Well, I have to admit I spent more time out behind the shed than I did enjoying the ceremony...not because of naughty children tho. :D  Simply because that is where the wedding party waited before going to the front and that was the best spot to feed my baby, which was necessary immediately after sending the girls up the aisle. :)   Coming up-Part 3 is the final wedding post.

Parties and Pretties

Well, the "pretties" ended up coming first, so here we go...
I sewed this dress yesterday for Miss Kates summer wardrobe. I've had the fabric since last spring and intended it for last year but didn't have time to sew it up and she had enough stuff anyway. I got it on a very cheap clearance and was very excited to finally get it done!
It is sleeveless and ties at the top of the shoulders.
Super full skirt and very frilly!
With a big chocolate bow in the back...
Miss Kate LOVES it!!! She twirls until she's dizzy and falls in a heap, then sits there and asks, Are we still moving? We're all moving! Everybody's moving!

PARTIES
We went to the riverfront park in Wenatchee on Sat. for a Birthday party for a 1 and 3 yr. old who's dad works with Mr. Wise Guy.
The theme was TRAINS!
and for the duration of the party they had rented the little kiddie train that goes around the park.
It was such a cute little train!
With jolly engineers included! :)

The Kids LOVED it!!!
(waiting for their first of 3 rides)
and they're off!!
my view :)

I loved how he sat with his elbow hangin out and his little hands folded over the edge. :)

Here we come...

ridin' in our little boxcar! :D
The kids loved to watch the engineer on the caboose hop off and switch the tracks every now and then.
Making sure he got back on his perch.
and then we're back at the station!
always greeted by the station masters!
There was a also a real caboose that the kids could go in and explore.
Note the sign above his head: It especially applies to this one! :D
He is dangling his foot over the edge (which is about level with my head) accompanied by some dramatic gasps included just for me...then laughing his evil little mischief laugh. :D

The kiddos enjoyed climbing all over the place! :) We though of our 3 musketeer cousins and wished they were here to enjoy it with us. Maybe sometime...

A couple of videos of the train ride.

Mommy's perspective...Elliott, sit down. No don't lean out of the car, it can tip over. Kate it's OK if Elliott has his hand there. Elliott, SIT DOWN. Kate don't push Elliott, he doesn't have any more room to scoot over. SIT DOWN. Are you having fun?!?! Stay in your seat. Yea! We're back at the station! :D (actually they were very good and we all enjoyed the ride. Only on the last ride did Tay-O keep standing up)

Daddy's perspective...Hi Daddy! Smile. Wave. Off we go! Have fun!
