Beginning Blogging

Well, we are finally attemtping to start a blog (now that we're nicely settled here in Moses Lake) as it seems to be the easiest way to keep family and friends informed of our wellbeing and whereabouts. Although this is mostly intended to keep you all updated on Miss Kate (who is full of mischief these days) and will mostly be pictures of her.

She has pulled a chair over on her head a total of 3 times this week. OUCH!! At least she's fairly tough, thanks to her little boy cousins. :)

She also finds it thrilling to try and "run" from one end of the couch to the other without holding on to anything...and without falling off.
Even though she still will not walk alone unless she's in the mood.

She also loves to turn lightswitches on and off, on and off, on and off...for as long as anyone will hold her up to reach. One of her stranger new 'skills' is to crawl across the room with her head down suspensfully waiting until her head rams into something...she then promtly turns around and continues in another direction (head down in the ramming position) and repeats the occurence... Apparently she didn't inherit much of her fathers smarts and is possibly losing what little she has. :)

While on the subject of her stranger qualities i might as well add her foot fetish. She will come and lay her head down on her daddy's feet while he is busy relaxing...or rub noses with his toeses. :P Also if i am sitting cross legged at the computer with a tempting toe dangling anywhere near her she will crawl over and taste her toe of choice. Usually the biggest. Eww! She has a tendency to do it very quietly when i am very engrossed in something and it makes me jump out of my skin when i suddenly feel something wet clamping down on my toe. ;) Oh the unexpected joys of motherhood. :D

Well this was a long and rambly first post. I shall try to get some house pics up for you once i take some, so y'all can see where we live...or else just come and visit...Please. And future posts should be more photo laden. :)
