August 31st!

That means I'm officially "overdue" today! Haha. I think I have a week or two left yet, but I did think the date the Dr. chose sounded better to me. I would be pleasantly surprised if this little one showed its face this week. I've been diligently walking or rollerblading every day (and everything else I can think of that is supposed to help) but nothing seems to be happening...so don't get your hopes up. We needed a Sept. birthday anyway to fill in the missing gap. Now we'll have a b-day in each month from June to Oct. And Mr. Wise Guy has suggested that the 10th would be ideal to have the baby so it could have a 9-10-11 birthday! I'm not that particular...anytime would be fine with me. I did notice the baby dropped last wknd so I can finally eat more...but that isn't necessarily a good thing, because my poor husband has to listen to my moans about overeating again! :)
40 wks

On a side note, this yogi Wrap that I wear all the time.... EVERY MOM WHOS PREGNANT SHOULD HAVE ONE!!! they are the best and keep you feeling able to do anything! Especially during the last trimester! They are a bit spendy, but totally worth it if you ask me.
Miss Kate is wondering....
If she yells at the baby to,
"PLEASE COME OUT!" will it?
Cuz these 2 kiddos are very excited about it!
Sure Tay-O will have a tough time not being the baby anymore...
and I'm sure the New Baby novelty will wear off before too long and it will cease to capture their attention like it did at the beginning.
But they're still excited about it right now!
and waiting patiently for when they get to meet this little person!
So, Little One, Kate and Tay-O would like to say:

Please, come out soon, cuz we're really anxious to hurry up and see you! Tay-o might seem a bit rough at first, but he means well... and Kate hopes you are a girl but we'll be happy with whoever comes out at this point. Sooner would be better than later...did we mention that. :D thanks in advance.
Your ever-loving siblings,
kate N tay-o :D

A quick summary of the last month or two...

Well, many events have happened since I last was around here. ;) One of which is that we rarely have internet service these days...hence the lack of posting. I got a new camera for my birthday so shouldn't have lack of posting material! For starters I picked 70lbs of strawberries and the kids enjoyed helping to put them up in the freezer ...make a lot of jam... and of course, eat as many as possible!!!

Two are better than one

After that I landed myself in the hospital for 6 hrs. with preterm labor at 29wks. and was put on "bed rest as much as possible". It happened to be the same week I lost my Dr. which only complicated things. :)
Help came for the following week.

We spent a week after that at Boppa and Gramma Jo's house.
Then A. Susie came and stayed a couple of weeks with us...which enable us to make it to Aberdeen Conf. as planned. While she was here my B-day came along.
Actually she stayed an extra day so she could be here on my B-day. What a sweet sister. She fixed bran muffins and smoothies for my breakfast and cleaned my entire house before starting out on her long trip home. We all got a candle in our muffin and I got a lovely birthday serenade. :)

We missed her terribly after she left. (especially Miss Kate!)

As I mentioned previously I received a new camera for my birthday. What I didn't mention was the "smile detection" feature. :D We had a lot of fun with it and it came in handy for the last maternity self portrait (coming up).
Enjoy our cheesy smiles! :)

In other news, we finally got the hot weather thats been hiding from us for so long this year, so the kids have been enjoying the pool.

I have made it to 36 weeks and have permission from the Dr. to do whatever i want now. ;)
This last week the baby has been bruising my ribs and I've plumb run outta room to store any more baby!
This Little Monkey turned 2 today!
We actually celebrated his birthday on Sat. though. I managed to scratch up a simple "big truck" cake, since he loves big trucks, in spite of a busy weekend. A yummy chocolate zuchinnii cake since that is the only kind he likes.
At least HE thought it was pretty cool. :)

And now its time to say Good night! Miss Kate has a bedtime story for ya! :)
Don't know when I'll be back with our sketchy internet service right now....So enjoy this one, til next time... :)
